This scarf is one of a series I did that featuring the plants and wildlife of the Hudson Valley

These are the birds that I see every day out my window and they are among my favorite subjects to paint.

Made from luscious 100% Habotai silk, the scarf is a nice size for wrapping or tying and has a wonderful soft feel.

Many people think of silk as delicate, but this is definitely not so as every type of silk, from chiffon to velvet, is extremely sturdy and will not pull under normal circumstances.

This good Multi colored, silk scarf is a one of a kind accessory. The silk dyes that I use bond with the fabric and if cared for properly will maintain their colors for the life of the scarf. Each piece is a signed original and comes with care instructions.
