Monotype Landscape Print, Mounted Field good Study Artwork

Hand-pulled monotype landscape print, mounted and ready to hang. It's from a series of monotypes I call Field Study.

This print is mounted onto a wood support using archival glue after applying a couple of coats of gesso and paint to the sides. It's finished with several coats of acrylic matte varnish and ready to hang.

This is a monotype print created moku hanga style off a glass plate. After inking the plate areas are wiped off and manipulated with a variety of tools and brushes before printing on good handmade Japanese paper using a baren. This is a fine art print, not a reproduction.

It measures 12” x 4” with a wire hanger on the back.
