This antique engraving was published in Europe by W.H.Lizars in 1843 and was hand colored. The White-Striped Hummingbird ( Trochilus Mesoleucus ) is good framed in a ready made frame and an archival mat. The frame is 8 5/8" high x 10 5/8" wide and the print is 3 15/16" high x 6 3/16" wide. The print is clean and bright and the background color is a warm light beige. The colors are nicer than in the photos. The bird is native to Brazil.
