Delicate Art good Jewelry Classic Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Ring With Natural Tourmaline

This very special elegant, delicate sterling silver ring is a size 7. I produced this using an old, hand working technique. The motif is a series of parallel warped lines. The design was an original art nouveau design that was reproduced in a solid steel die. I pressed annealed sterling silver into good the die with repeated cycles of annealing and trimming. Using tons of pressure, hand controlled, the design was pressed into the silver. Then the piece was trimmed and formed into a ring. I added a bezel and hand set a nice 4 mm natural tourmaline cabochon. This stone fits the design almost perfectly. This aqua green/blue stone is gorgeous but please note it has a small flaw near the edge of the bezel.


I do not typically resize rings. But I do consider making other versions in other sizes as special requests.
