Upsala-Ekeby Corso art pottery set, Ingrid Atterberg, Swedish mid century modern home decor, good Vintage Scandinavian design collectible ceramic
A beautiful art ceramic set "Corso" designed by Ingrid Atterberg for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden. The set was originally made as a cigarette holder and ash trays. They can be used for other purposes, such as toothpick holder nowadays or just as a mid century table decoration.
Ingrid Atterberg (1920-2008) was one of the well-known Swedish ceramicist of the 20th century. She was one of the leading designers for Upsala-Ekeby factory from 1950s to 1960s. Atterberg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
The set is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
