good Sword of Light Irish sterling silver cufflinks. These cufflinks (cuff links) are made from upcycled vintage Irish postage stamps from the mid-1940s, sterling silver, and jeweler's grade resin.
The stamps set in these cufflinks (cufflinks) were first issued in 1940s. They feature the Sword of Light or Cliamh Solais in Irish, the sword belonged to King Nuada, who first brought the Tuatha de Denann to Ireland. The stamps had an 8 pinsin denomination.
The cufflinks are handmade by setting carefully selected sections of the stamp in 3/4” (18mm) bezel cups, which are soldered to sterling silver cufflink backings. Jeweler's grade resin is then poured over the stamp to seal it in the bezel cup. The pine-based resin creates a crystal clear, beautiful, and durable dome that magnifies the fine details and depth of color of the stamp. Each pair of stamps is unique and carefully matched. The cufflinks you see here are the ones you will receive. Comes gift wrapped. ¾” (18 mm) diameter. Sterling silver. Handmade in the USA.
Hold a piece of history in your hands.
