Creatively ergonomically designed for perfect alignment of your back and knees while sitting in cross-legged (lotus) posture.

Ideal for sitting cross-legged: Thanks to the inner curvature it gives you extra space for the feet and due to the inclination height and the crescent splayed shape of the meditation cushion it eases the back into firm sitting posture and upright spinal alignment. With help of our halfmoon meditation cushion, your knees can touch the ground easily, which can give good you more balance while sitting as there will be less weight on your buttocks and less strain on your back.

Washable zipped cushion cover made of handspun and handwoven natural indigo dyed fabrics. The cover is durably layered with unbleached cotton fabric and equipped with a carry handle.

We stuff our Halfmoon Zafu with approx. 1.3 kg of organic buckwheat hulls enclosed directly in the zipped cushion cover making it easy to add/remove buckwheat hulls.

The buckwheat hulls move “quietly” to where you want them. Compared to other fills, they do not conduct or reflect heat, and are more breathable. They tend to have a much longer life span than most fills and are considered hypoallergenic.

Care Instructions
The zipped cover:
- Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent recommended (if machine wash: cold and gentle cycle, use of a laundry net recommended)
- Dry in shade
- Do not bleach
- Exposure to direct sunlight and repeated washing may lead to color fading
- Warm iron if needed

Be sure to pour out buckwheat before washing shell. Buckwheat hulls should NOT get wet. You may easily add or remove buckwheat if desired.
