Suzani comes from the Persian word for "needle". Suzani is a traditional form of needlework from Central Asia. The birthplace of suzani is the Central Asia region, namely Uzbekistan. The area along the silk roads that interconnected the cultures of Europe, Turkey, China and Central Asian.
