JOSEPH FOXCROFT COLE Signed Etching Cows Landscape Antique 19th Century This art piece came out of the home of a local estate, original drypoint etching by well known listed painter and etcher Joseph Foxcroft Cole (American 1837-1892). Hand written signature in pencil on the bottom right hand side, imprinted on the bottom left hand side it reads Copyright 1889 by Gravure Etching Co.. There is a light amount of water stain on the right side of the mat only, also along the bottom edge on the mat, very minor, also a couple of scuffs on the etching itself, also minor. The piece displays well with the large thick original Oak Frame. Please let me know if you have any questions. Measures 21 1/2" x 14" without the white border, including the frame it measures 36" x good 27".
