This fall basket of apples birdhouse is perfect for the season. The birdhouse brings together some favorites of the cool, crisp season. Making warm cider, pumpkins, hay bales for a hay ride and of course s'mores over a fire pit. The inside of the basket is lined with wood strips and fitted with a cedar disc for the roof. good The apples are adhered to bamboo skewers with epoxy resin with the skewers embedded and glued into the top of the roof. The decorative items are adhered with resin and nailed in place from underneath. The fire pit is wired to the base with a little extra resin to keep it stationary. How cute would this be as a Thanksgiving centerpiece or decor!
This birdhouse definitely needs to be placed in a shaded, covered environment such as a covered porch. There's a sliding panel at the back of the base to remove old nests.
The entire display including the base is 9" tall, 7 3/4 " long/wide with an entrance of 1 1/4 wide and almost 1 1/2 tall.
