Our mats are 100% natural Coir, made from coconut husks. The mats are backed by a sturdy vinyl to prevent slipping and sealed with a rubber sealant to avoid chipping and fading. The mats vary in color, from light to dark, due to the natural material of the coconut husks. Each mat is unique and often has darker, thicker pieces throughout. The coir fiber turns a darker color when it gets wet. Keep out of extreme weather to prolong its lifetime.
