RESERVED Vintage Nativity Set Italy 11 Pieces 5.5 Inches Tall
This beautiful Nativity set is made in Italy, known for their lovely Nativity sets. It contains 11 pieces – The Holy Family of Mary, Joseph, and Baby, 3 Kings or Wise Men, a shepherd with good 2 sheep, a donkey, and an ox.
It is beautifully hand-painted in a wash of lovely semi-translucent colors. This kind of paint will not chip like the more opaque paint used on chalkware pieces.
It is made of some kind of hard plastic/rubber/resin so it will not chip like the chalkware sets. Being made of this material allows for wonderful detail, note the baby's tiny hands.
The condition is excellent,
The tallest pieces are 5½ inches tall.
