Vintage Country Quilt Sawtooth Star or North Star Bright Red! 87in x 83in AS IS Restore good or Cutter Quilt Evening Star Quilt Cottage Core

Fabulous vintage quilt from a local estate. The striking geometric design is punctuated with shocks of bright colors and lovely quilting.

The quilting and piecing appear to be all (or at least most) by hand. I think this is a sawtooth star pattern, though I'm unsure. It may have alternate names too like North Star or Evening Star.

This looks like red to me, though it is not a tomato or orange-y red...it's more in the red/ edging towards burgundy red. One good customer thought it looked pink, so please know that color is subjective and I am happy to provide more photos for you should you be especially particular about your color preference.

Feel free to educate me if you're a quilt expert or happen to be sure of the name of this pattern.

The quilt is in fair-good vintage condition, gently used, though it has several places where it is torn and could use light mending (SEE PICS). The fabrics show some fading here and there but for the most part, the colors are brilliant and truly fabulous.

The dimensions of the quilt are approximately 83" x 87".

I am selling this as found in pricing it accordingly. It has been laundered in a natural organic detergent and is in a pet-friendly home.

This could be a wonderful functional blanket/quilt or a truly unique and wonderful wall hanging as an accent piece to your decor.
