Underneath a periwinkle sky adorned with light blue clouds, the Colorado grasslands hold magnificence. The Rocky Mountains on the horizon create a backdrop of cool colors and a cold demeanor. They reach out into the grasslands and cradle the height, warmth good and intensity of the Garden of the Gods. A truly awe inspiring rock formation that seems to reach out to the deities themselves. Tall and formidable, the orange and red toned sediment is a beacon in the natural world. Defying gravity and jaw dropping. Their raggedness and sharp personality are in stark contrast to the rounded and soft features of the grasslands. Full to the seems with shrubs and grasses that blow in the wind, the area surrounding the rock formations only adds to the illusion of omnipotence. At the forefront of the scene, tucked in behind the fluffy bushes, a trio of prairie dogs traverses their way through the thick grass and blooming indigo flowers. These tiny creatures living amongst this towering garden of rock. A balance of meek and might, monstrous and mellow.
