This modern baby girl quilt is ready to ship to you! It features the Cottage Garden fabric line from Riley Blake. The printed fabric has colors of rose pink, aqua, and gray and prints of peonies, birds, branches, medallions, and words of wisdom. The pattern of this quilt is good alternating bricks of patterned fabric and pure white.

The measurements are approximately 33.5 inches by 33.5 inches It is a good size for a stroller quilt, car seat quilt, for cuddling, or as a mat for tummy time or play time on the floor. It is backed in a coordinating geometric fabric in varying shades of pink. The batting in the middle is a bamboo and organic cotton mix that is thin and lightweight, but also warm. It is quilted in a meandering wavy pattern on my home sewing machine. The coordinating geometric pink binding is machine stitched to both sides for durability.

This quilt has not been washed, but can be washed in cool water on a gentle cycle. With the first washing some minor shrinking will occur and the puckers and gathers characteristic of quilts will appear. It will become softer with each washing and is made to stand up to much use and love.
