Very Rare, This may be the smallest piece done by Richard Rothbard. The musical note key piece is less than 1” in length. This is one of his early works and probably a one-off, whittled with a knife and disc sander. The previous owner was a practicing horn musician and teacher. This explains the musical instrument theme, not sure if Richard made other horn instrument puzzle boxes. There is an original “Thank You” note inside.
