50s Tartan Plaid Dress & Jacket Set S M, Vintage Blue Green good Sleeveless Sheath with Linen Collar Cropped Bolero, Small to Medium

This is an adorable 1950s vintage dress and matching jacket outfit! It's a deep blue and kelly green tartan plaid in a smooth woven, lightly iridescent material, very pleasant to touch and wear. The set consists of a figure flattering sleeveless sheath with a modest round front neckline, a V shaped back neckline, a back kick pleat, and a cute attached front cummerbund sash that closes with a self fabric buckle at the back of the waist. The dress itself closes with a 16" Aero brand steel metal rear zipper.

The matching over-jacket or bolero is short, cropped, one piece with no shoulder seams, and has slim fitting half length sleeves and an attached 3.5" wide white linen collar with lace floral appliques and interlocking looped piping trim. The jacket has six decorative large white pearl plastic buttons. They do not have corresponding button holes and the jacket is meant to be worn open. It has a single metal hook & eye closure at the throat.

The suit is in very good clean condition, we see no flaws or signs of wear. There are no labels or tags. The fabric contents are unknown, we would guess it is a rayon acetate or rayon silk blend with a linen collar and we recommend only professional dry cleaning for best care. It fits best as a Small to Medium according to the measurements:
