Vintage 50s dress, good 1950s blue shirtdress, yellow striped dress, 50s striped dress, 50s day dress, 50s midi dress, Small, W26

An adorable dress from the late 1940s - early 1950s! Made from baby blue chambray, the dress has a cute Peter Pan collar with a yellow necktie (that can be tied or arranged in a bow!), short cuffed sleeves, front buttons, a nipped waist, and a pleated midi skirt with contrasting yellow horizontal stripes. Such a unique dress with charming details!

Condition: Great vintage condition! Clean and ready to wear! A tiny mend near one side seam at the waist, and two other tiny mends at the back neck, mostly only visible on the inside/edge. Some wear to the buttons, especially the three on the skirt, but I didn't think it was bad enough to warrant replacing the originals since it wouldn't really be noticeable during wear. There is a small scuff/hole on one of the upper left skirt pleats and a stubborn tiny brown dot at one front shoulder as well as another lighter one at the back. See photos for detail. May have originally had shoulder pads, but if so, they are missing. Presents beautifully!
