Framed Dapalis Macrurus oligocene fish fossil from Provence - Rare good collectible

This is a vintage framed Dapalis Macrurus fish fossil. It comes from Provence, France and is dated to about 35 million years. The fish is about 3 inches long. The frame is about 12.25 inches large and 10.75 inches tall. I'm not a fossil connaisseur. The informations in the listing are the ones on the label on the back of the frame. Sold as is.

It is in good condition. There are some scratches, paint loss and chips on the frame.
