Vintage good Samsonit Black Hardshell Attache No Key - USA Made- G.U.C

This is a black textured hard shell Samsonite briefcase with silver trim. It is very similar to the first briefcase I owned which was a gift from my Aunt when I graduated from law school in 1976. Mine was ( and Is- I still own good it) a medium grey textured hard shell.

This case has silver trim with dual keyed latches. Unfortunately I don't have the key but the latches are in the unlocked position and function properly. The interior has a black lining . There is a fan file the same color of the exterior.

Width: 3 1/4 inches


Condition:

This case is in good condition. It has no rips, tears or holes and is structurally sound. . However the exterior of the case has some scuffing and scratching on the bottom and on the sides. There is also a faded mark on the top that looks a place a was once placed. The interior is in good condition as well. Please see photos for best depiction of this briefcase

According to Wikepedia Samsonite " was founded in Denver, Colorado, on March 10, 1910 by Blackhawk, Colorado-born luggage salesman Jesse Shwayder (1882–1970) as the Shwayder Trunk Manufacturing Company. A religious man, Shwayder named one of his initial cases Samson, after the Biblical strongman, and began using the trademark Samsonite in 1941 for its tapered vulcanized fiber suitcase, introduced in 1939. In 1965 after the Samsonite suitcase became its best-selling product, the company changed its name to Samsonite."
