'The Highlander' is from a pastel painting. It shows a Scottish Highland cow in a misty setting with frost encrusted grasses. Choosing a limited palette and a simple composition, I used Panpastels as well as pastel pencils for this piece, still managing to achieve a high amount of detail on the prime subject. This is a particularly calming painting of one of these magnificent beasts and would be suitable for any room in the house.

This is a high quality, LARGE box canvas print on a 30mm deep precision engineered frame with a centre tensioner/stretcher bar to ensure that your canvas does not require framing and is ready to hang. It will remain as tight as a drum and not go baggy and loose like inferior quality box canvases. The sides of the picture have been left white, giving a neat, contemporary look.
