good WWI commemorative metal badge. An original Australian Navy Recruitment Pin Back Badge that depicts a British ship, the HMS Victory and a portrait of Admiral Horatio Nelson. It reads "OCTOBER NELSONS DAY ADELAIDE 1917, ENGLAND EXPECTS'' This is a very old and scarce button. It has a heavy patina to the metal back side but the plastic coated pin front is very clear with flaws or damage to the art. It is in very good condition and measures approximately:
