Fanciullacci good Italian Pottery - Mid Century Italian Pottery Fratelli Fanciullacci African Series 7493 Handled Vessel

A stunning example of Fratelli Fanciullacci work from the African series. The piece #7493 has an unusual shaped handle attached to a vessel with pour spout. The vase is glazed white on the interior and handle, while the outer portion is textured unglazed pottery but for the depiction of a male and female figure with huts in the background - baithing, or perhaps preparing a meal? The piece is in very good vintage condition with little sign of wear. There is a very small area of glaze loss on the top lip near the handle, but we cannot determine if it is a chip or a manufacturing good variation. In any case it does not detract from the beauty of the piece. Zoom in on photos for condition detail.
