The iconic Acapulco design created by Christine Reuter for Villery & Boch in 1967, and applied to good the 'Milano' body form created by Ludwig Scherer, remains one of the most uplifting and joyful dinnerware patterns of that period.

This particular piece may well have been created as a 'ladies' ashtray, but will work beautifully as a marmalade dish for your breakfast table, or a condiment dish for a bright and lively lunch.

The Acapulco pattern was in production from 1967 through to about 1994, however the blue backstamp on this piece indicates is was made before the early 1980s, when a different brown stamp was introduced.

This lovely little dish is in excellent vintage condition
