The running bunnies encircle a scene of mother bunny administering medicine to the bunny in the bed. The lid shows scenes of the bunny family rowing in the sea.

Doulton & Co (Ltd) manufactured earthenwares at Nile Street, Burslem, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries from 1882.

The condition is good apart from a few scratches in the middle from use. There are no chips, cracks, or hairlines and there's no sign of any crazing and overall it is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age. It would have had a stopper once but a cork would serve the purpose just as well.

The bowl measures 7 7/8 inches in diameter with a maximum of 8 1/2 inches.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical good piece, or authentic period prop.
