Such an amazing sculpture, warrior with spear, quill and more spears on his back and expressive abstract face. Estate find with very little information except it stood in the garden of original owner since the mid 1960s, metal assemblage with found pieces, the only part I think I recognize is the body as part of a tire jack, masterfully put together by a talented folk artist with a cool all over patina of rust and distressed metal. Bottom appears to have remnants of cement which might have been how it was anchored at some point , all of it helping to give it a cool brutalist end of times look. This piece would look great indoors or out, great addition for a mid century art collector and would look equally at home in a tiki theme room, bar or garden. Condition is great with above mentioned patina from age. *I just want to mention that this piece has some sharp edges and rough surfaces and may not be suitable in a home with young children good or very active or curious pets.
