This cup is RARE ornate and unique. It is a Lustre Cup Made in Germany. The bottom has.. in red.. 51. And stamped into the mold 1516. German demi lustre cups were available for traveling or souvenir gifts. It is made of white porcelain and is adorned with hand painted pinwheel dots in gold gilt.. a beaded trim in gold gilt..a free form body incased by more gold gilt and pink lustre with white dots. The base is a thin glaze of the softest yellow. The inside of the cup is a white slip glaze. There are four feet...also in gold. And a fancy handle.The cup is also embossed.
