good This is a primitive gouache painting on paper of a tulip that is set behind glass in black painted wooden frame. The frame is modern and made to look old, but it is well-made. The paper has age toning and some ripples. The back has writing that states this is signed and dated 1856 on the back. It measures 6 1/2" by 10 1/8" with a sight size of 7 5/8" by 4".
