Those who follow me will know that the usual expression of my work is screen printing. However these unprecedented times have prevented me from getting to the studio and as a result I have been experimenting in different media and producing a lot of original pieces. This has resulted in a new body of work which has been informed by the strange world we currently live in!
This piece is called "Stevie Wonder Niks" and is a portrait of our crazy cat!
The original piece is an acrylic painting. I love acrylic, the immediacy of it. It forces you to work fast and I love how you can play with the merging of colour and layering and am enjoying evolving my style which when I get back into the studio I will look to bring back to screen printing through mono print!
The original has now sold but is now available as a limited edition giclee print on archival quality (FSC approved) 310gsm matt Hahnemuehle German Etching paper. I will produce good 100 copies only and each is signed and numbered on the front.
Size is A4 - 210mm x 297mm and is supplied unframed.
Each print is carefully packaged and sent first class signed for delivery via royal mail.
