Glasgow's metro network is one of a kind. Or subway, as Glaswegians call it themselves. It's a single circle line that was opened in 1896 and never expanded afterwards. The entire line consist of two separate tunnels that are both completely underground.
Despite being it a single line, two colors are used: orange for the outer circle that runs clockwise and grey for the inner circle going anticlockwise. That makes for an outstanding addition to a minimalist home decor.
There's debate going on whether it's called Clockwork Orange or not, but at least some people like to refer to it that way.
