Collectible Snappy The Snail salt and pepper shakers by Enesco. The Enesco Company long ago transformed your typical garden pest to the cutest anthropomorphic bugs! A great one-of-a-kind addition to any home decor! Perfect for someone who loves to tend to a garden or loves indoor and/or outdoor plants.
These vintage, midcentury snails are salt and pepper shakers that are made of glossy, hand painted ceramic. This collectible set is very detailed and in good condition with their original rubber stoppers and rubber antennas still present. These appear to be a male and female snail couple in love. They have expressive, sweet faces with long eyelashes, rosy cheeks, and bendy plastic antennas. Both snails measure approximately 4 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. There are no cracks, no crazing, no repairs, and no broken pieces. The male snail with the blue, striped bowtie has little white spots on the backside of its shell. I'm not sure if good it happened at the time of manufacturing. They are not chips and are smooth to the touch. The female snail is in excellent condition with her original foil sticker tag on the backside of her shell. The tag has wrinkled and faded over time. Might be removed if you choose to. You can still somewhat make out the word “Enesco” on the tag. Both snails have minor faded paint. All in all they are in amazing condition for their age!
Vintage Enesco products have always enjoyed a wonderful reputation amongst collectors for their quality AND their value. This set is becoming more rare and hard to find especially with their antennas intact. This adorable set are sure to receive many compliments when displayed on your Kitchen Table and/or in your Kitchen Home Decor such as a Curio Cabinet or Hutch or kitchen shelf.
