Rhythm Step brown ladies platform dance high heeled peep toe shoes with bow "the 1-2-3 shoe" good 1940s

Rare 1940's ladies 'Rhythm Step' "The 1, 2 , 3 Shoe". Brown pumps with large leather bows on the front showing off the classic retro peep toe, high heels and small platform. The shoes are sturdily built and have a moire taffetta lining. The good instep of the shoe has the Rhythm Step makers mark and Gold stars with 1.2.3. U.S Pat OFF. The back of the shoe says 540 Last. The leather sole on the left shoe has a gouge from wear, see photos.

Width at widest point front of shoe, measured from inside: 2 7/8"
Heel height: 3 1/2"

Approx. size 6 at a guess.
