This charming collection of short stories belonged to Madeleine L'Engle (A Wrinkle in Time) and features numerous short stories edited by Charles Norman, including one by Chekhov. The book is signed inside with Madeleine L'Engle's married name (Madeleine Franklin - her husband being the actor Hugh Franklin). Madeleine met Hugh in a performance of Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard.
In good/gently worn shape with some rubbing/light foxing to the dust jacket and foxing to the page edges and inside a little good bit, and a little dusty from age.
