Claude De La Colombière (1641-1682) was a French Jesuit priest and encourage devotion to the Heart of Jesus. He was canonized in 1992 by Pope John Paul II. This is a collection of his sermons to HRH Madame la Duchesse d'York. An antique with typical wear as seen in a book with this age.

Hardcover, no dust jacket, brown board, good decorative print, edge wear, corner bumps, scrapes, leather spine scrapes and wear, gilt print and decoration spine, all normal shelf and reading wear. Free front endpaper missing. Pages intact, not torn or written on, some water spots first few pages and back endpapers, papers have some wave, likely due to age. Published by Avignon, Seguin Aine Imprimeur-Libraire, 1832. Overall condition is good.
