Rustic stool for Italian work (Sardinia), solid wood has several small traces of paint above the pink paint, this would suggest that it was used by a painter at least for a part of his life. Often this type of seat was used for milking sheep or cows but also as a small chair in the house in front of the fireplace or as a support when it was necessary to pull pots or other kitchen accessories off the walls.
