Original oil painting inspired by a good wonderful hike in Yellowstone National Park. I love exploring the many different thermal features - the pools are all different depths and temperatures, calmly bubbling and steaming. The surrounding colors vary with the temperatures, too, allowing different bacteria to thrive and creating all different hues from reds, yellow, ocher and greens.

My painting celebrates the beauty of this country and is sure to be a beautiful addition to any room.
