The work of a New York illustration artist named ELMO MILTON ANDERSON, (also signed his work as ANDE or ANDY and also used little symbol with circles...) Not much is known about this man, his business was in New York city, he passed in the 1980's we believe, a small stack of business cards tucked into the portfolioElmo must have done quite a bit of advertising illustration art, large scrapbook with newspaper and magazine clippings with his earlier work that was printed, maybe some fa m when he was quite young. Some great paintings, some fun advertising artwork, some gorgeous woodblocks, wood cuts, stencils, pochoir, etc. that appear to be fa m the Art Deco period but also show a bit of the Arts and Crafts influence, superb colors, some whimsical with kissing fish, monkeys, animads. Set up by numbered plates, all hand done, quite beautiful and unique.
