C1890/1910 Beeton's Shilling Gardening Book with Illustrations good - Ward Lock - Antique Gardening Book - Horticulture - Flowers & Vegetables

Here is a lovely antique gardening book from the Beeton collection.

c1900/10 this copy of Beeton's Shilling Gardening Book is in good condition, it is the best example of this edition that I have come across.
The binding is very good, no cracked hinges and the pages are lovely and clean.

There is a previous owners name written in pencil and dated 1908 on the ffep and the occasional pencil tick mark ✔️ on some of the pages. Please see the photos for examples.

Externally the dark green covers are also in good condition with minor shelf ware and corner bumping. The spine is intact and the binding is tight, all in all a lovely little book for a gardening enthusiast.

The book measures 7 x 5 inches.
