Riihimaki Finland Western Thistle Amber Marigold Vase

This Western Thistle pattern is a blend of the floral and geometric elements, very similar to another Riihimäki glass factory pattern (Grand Thistle). The bottom has a distinguishable diamond band around it and a eight-point star on the bottom. In Finnish the name of the pattern is "Kukka", which in translation means flower or blossom.

This particular vase looks good to be nr 5966, which is considered to be a very hard-to-find shape.
