This detailed art piece, dubbed "Lotus Mandala" by Kate, is made from 9 layers of custom plywood in 4 materials, each layer a slightly different shape than the last. The layering create a three-dimensional effect that is at the same time relaxing and mesmerizing. You'll always find a new detail to enjoy in each of my designs. This design was cut using a laser cutter, then sanded, glued together, and sprayed with several coats of lacquer for a gorgeous and durable shine.

This art piece is made to order. This design is limited to 25 finished pieces. The art number shown in the photos is an example of what would be engraved on the back. Actual art numbers vary.

Other versions of this art design have the layers of wood in a different arrangement, creating one-of-a-kind, beautiful art pieces good you can be happy to hang in your bedroom, office, or nursery.

Each piece of art ships anywhere in the world and includes a box for shipping and storage.

— About Our Materials —

After testing various plywoods we were able to find, we realized that ready-made plywoods, even some of the best quality ones, were not up to the task of creating these beautiful art pieces. We ended up having our plywoods custom manufactured from scratch specifically for making this art.

The four colors of wood provide an amazing level of detail that would otherwise be lost when using only one type of wood. The woods we used for our plywoods are Poplar (the light color), Cherry (one of the two medium tones), Mahogany (the other medium tone), and Walnut (the darker color).
