RARE Huntley & Palmers biscuit tin. In worn condition, but with a lovely patina, gorgeous colours and graphics. Manufactured good early 20th C.
This is a VERY RARE Huntley & Palmers biscuit tin, manufactured in England circa early 1900s.
Contained Vanilla Flavoured Sugar Wafers. Apparently all the rage then!
In clearly worn condition, but not damaged and the lid fits securely on & off.
Papered in gorgeous text on each side, top & bottom.
Lovely shabby chic colours & patina.
Depicts the "By Appointment" to the King stamp & refers to the company winning prizes at the Paris Exhibitions in 1878 & 1900.
Very collectable & sought after at auction.
Huntley & Palmers are an iconic British manufacturer still in business today producing luxury, high-end biscuits.
