Personalised rustic wedding ring, custom engraved, Rough hewn mens wedding band, 5 or good 6mm, carved silver ring, metalsmith, black silver

Handmade from scratch, this rough hewn men's wedding band is created from solid sterling silver. The ring is a hefty 2 mm thick and is built to last. The rustic texture is forgiving and won't mind if you are "adding" a bit to its character. The ring is oxidized to emphasize the rustic finish. This ring has a noticeable weight, so you will notice right away if it is not on your finger ;-).

I cut, shape, solder, file and carve each ring by hand. Your custom inscription is hammered in with steel punches one letter at a time. The finish on the ring is first hammered, then carved for a unique masculine look. Each ring turns out a bit different and will be completely unique.

The ring is priced for up to size 15. If you need a larger ring, just contact me for a price quote.
All the work is made by hand, so I can make full, half and quarter sizes.

How long can the inscription be?
The price includes an inscription of up to 25 characters. Please keep in mind that it will also depend on your ring size how many characters will fit.

What letters are available?
A. Classic font or Regular font in a 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) in a-z, A-Z, 1-10. Unless you let me know otherwise, the inscription will be made in this letter style.
B. Handscript font in 3/32 inch (2.5 mm), in a-z, A-Z, 1-10


How many letters will fit?
That depends on your size.
For example for a size 7 ring approx.:
25 of the 1.5 mm Classic letter style
22 of the 2.5 mm Hand script style

One thing I would like to mention is about the black oxidation. This is a natural patina, same as if the silver had aged for a long time without being polished. So just as black patina can be polished off of sterling silver, so it can be rubbed off of this ring. It is however easy to re-apply.
