While reliable information on the origin of the hooksword is scarce, what is well known is that they are a deadly weapon in the right hands. Able to slash, chop, stab, trap, trip and block, these blades have you covered for all eventualities*.
This particular variant is inspired by the Mortal Kombat character, Kabal, specifically the Mortal Kombat 11 version and will make a fine addition to any Mortal Kombat kollection or kostume.
They are approximately 96cm in length and 15cm wide across the grip and crescent guard. They are hand built from EVA foam with an aluminium core for lightness and stability. Due to the narrow nature of the blade it is not recommended to use this weapon in combat.
In the interest of safety, the good core ends before the hook and extends only into the grip and not into the spike.
As this item is hand built and hand painted, some degree of customisation is available, so feel free to get in touch with your requirements.
