BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE MEDITATION SHAWL

This is an exquisite example of Kashmiri elegance in design.

This shawl is made from handspun and handwoven fine-grade soft quality, pure Merino wool.

One only of this design.

Handwoven, hand-dyed and hand needlework good embroidery in a traditional Kashmiri design.

The body of the shawl is a rich Burgundy Plum with trailing vine and bud design.

Being 110cm wide and 200 cm long this is classed as a wrap size.

It makes a beautiful meditation shawl and in fact this is the size used by men in Kashmir for prayer and meditation.

This piece has been individually handmade in the artisan's home as a part of a cottage craft industry.

Kashmir is one of the few places where they still genuinely handmake most of their products. All the Kashmir made products on Kashmir Couture have been hand made.
