Up for grabs is a mint condition Dorset Rex metal weave box purse from the 1950's in good condition. The label is gone, I have researched the patent is #2484838. It is stamped on the bottom of the purse. The lining is perfect; I have a feeling it has been replaced; that is probably why the label is gone. If you would like additional pictures or have questions, please send me a message. The cage of the purse is very nice; has slight damage. I photos need to be looked at. It has an S hook closure. The handle is 12" long; as far as the other measurements they veer wider closer to the top of the bag. The good lid is 8.75 wide", 5.75" depth, and 3.5" height. Total length with handle is 7.25"; as far as the bottom measurements: 7" wide, 4" depth. Also, on the bottom there are four "feet" for support and preservation. The feet are within the metal band; the 4 areas are just pushed out enough to form each one.
