Wonderful Antique Victorian Porcelain Fairing Hand Holding Trinket Box. The size is 4 1/2" long x 2 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" to the top of the knob on the lid. Bottom only has a scratched, incised mark but I believe this is German Conta & Boehme mark. Circa 1860s - 1890s. This is a figure keepsake of a women's right hand holding a lidded box. It is a heavy, dense white porcelain. Has some gold paint loss and a small chip to the inside of the box rim (see last Photo). No other chips, cracks or repairs. good #2-8B.
