These opalescent bowls and saucers are unbelievably gorgeous! There are two pink bowls and one pale blue bowl. Each of them has its own saucer and the set comes with two additional blue saucers. The silhouette of these pieces makes them exceptionally unique! They are reminiscent of scallop shells and fit perfectly in good the palm of one's hand. The glass has a satin or frosted finish, with opalescent edges. The overall impact is unlike any other glass pieces that I have ever seen! I am not sure what these dishes were originally used for, but my guess would be for fruit, berries, or dessert. I think they might also serve well as cups in the right circumstances. Each saucer measures approximately 4.5 inches across, and each cup measures approximately 3.5“ x 2.75“. The cups are approximately 1.75 inches deep. All of these pieces are in good to very good vintage condition, with minimal wear and marks. I have not detected any chips or cracks. These are a wonderful addition to any glass collection and will also serve your guests in exquisite and memorable style!
