some imperfections in the pieces should be tolerated due to age of the pieces and being handmade.

The hand woven wool kilim ( mazandaran - lahaf ) i used for these pillow covers dates back to 1920s and it is from Caucasus.

I used natural linen with best quality for backing these pillow covers and the woven parts are all lined with felted interface fabric.

The second and third pillow covers are made out of only natural linen with best quality ( both sides ) and it is the same linen with the ones used for back sides of the kilim pillow covers.

KILIM :
Kilims are the methaporic language of the nomads of Anatolia. The symbolic language that finds expression in kilims inspires the viewer to reflect on life in a bygone era, on the traditions of the women who wove these timeless textiles and the cultural context from which they emerged, in other words, to recreate those times in their own imagination. This little kilim cushion is a small representation of this imagination.

The colors might look slightly different on different screens. If you are you are very much sensitive about the colors of the pieces, please question detailly and ask for extra images to be sure about the colors, since returning the pieces is a costy and difficult process.
Some might expect these vintage pieces to have as perfect condition as brandnew items, and that is good why i needed to underline this issue.
