It is such a cute addition to any collection or could simply be a great piece to put out for a Christmas conversation piece! It does takes 2 AA batteries and it has been tested and works. It is not loud. Batteries have been removed for shipping and are not included. It is about 7 inches tall by 8 inches wide and is a heavy piece. the snow good is still white in the globe and the water is still clear! Please see pictures for more description.
