good A single piece of ikat dyed, handwoven cotton fabric. The width of this piece of fabric is ca 100 cm and the length ca 200 cm.

Ikat patterns are made by tying knots around the cotton yarn in a certain pattern before dyeing. After dyeing the yarn needs to be precisely handwoven in the right order.

This is a unique piece of fabric and we only have one.

Indigo dyed fabric will wear similar to jeans. It will bleach from washing and wearing but stay beautiful.

This fabric is soft but will become softer over time after using and washing it.

This fabric is hand made from locally grown cotton in Thailand. It is made by Thai craftspeople who make fabrics in their homes. We work directly with these weavers and pay them a fair price, which helps them to continue their craft and produce sustainable products without the use of any machines. Buying this product will help support communities in Thailand.

Tip: real handwoven fabric can be recognized by looking at the edges. Handwoven fabrics have edges that are irregular and wavy as you can see in the picture.

This fabric is great for making cushions, clothes or bags. It is not difficult to work with but it is good to have a overlock (serger) machine as it can fray easily as it always the case with handwoven fabrics. Once locked and stitched it is strong.
